Oolalah! An Afternoon of Oolongs

Our first official event was a success!

The workshop was led by Thomas Shu, Ambassador of Taiwan Tea, who talked about the characteristics and history behind 6 different types of premium oolong teas.

From left to right: Pouchong, Jade, Amber, Oriental, Brandy and Bliss
Guests then had a chance to experience the teas for themselves, smelling the aromas and tasting each unique flavor.

Mr. Shu also talked about choosing the right tea for you and how to brew the perfect cup. He's very passionate about tea and his excitement resonated with everyone in attendance.

A big mahalo goes out to The Pineapple Room and their friendly staff for the perfect venue and a delicious assortment of finger sandwiches and pastries.

We look forward to the next event and hope to see you there!
